Benjamin Moore recently released their annual report on home color trends for 2012.
According to their report the color palette will take on a slightly "safer" feel than the colors form 2011, focusing on calming colors that project a sense of peace and tranquility.
The top color pick for 2012 is Wythe Blue, a blue green hue with a cool gray cast to it.
Other trends for 2012 include:
- The use of blues as a backdrop for other colors in furniture and accessories
- A strong use of grays and soft neutrals
- Small kicks of color as accent pieces
- Warm colors with an earthy feel
